YapperWoo
About

Real
conversations,
no accounts.

YapperWoo is an anonymous communication platform for spontaneous, human conversation. No signup, no profile, no baggage — just a fast, moderated way to meet someone new for text, voice or video chat.

How matching works

When you tap Start Chatting, YapperWoo drops you into a queue with everyone else looking to talk right now. A matching pass scores candidates by overlapping languages and interests and pairs you with the best fit. If nobody with your exact filters is available, filters relax progressively so you still get matched within a few seconds instead of staring at a spinner. Every match is one-to-one and lives in its own private, ephemeral room.

How moderation works

Text chat runs through a deterministic, rule-based moderation layer. Messages are normalized (unicode, homoglyphs, leetspeak) and checked against category dictionaries for harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, contact-info sharing, and other prohibited categories. There is no black-box AI reading your conversations — decisions are predictable and auditable.

Repeated violations escalate: warning, cooldown, match termination, then account restriction. Voice and video are not recorded; safety in those modes relies on the report button and one-tap skip.

How reports work

Every chat has a report button. Reports are reviewed against the Community Guidelines. Depending on severity, action ranges from a warning to a temporary cooldown to a permanent ban. Serious safety issues may be escalated to authorities.

How data is handled

YapperWoo does not ask for your name, email or phone number. A temporary anonymous session token identifies you while you're active. Text messages are held only long enough to deliver them and enforce moderation, then discarded when the room ends. Voice and video streams travel peer-to-peer over WebRTC and are not recorded.

What anonymous means here

No profile. No real name. No permanent identity. Both people in a chat see only a temporary alias for the length of that session. There are no followers, no feeds, no discoverable pages. When you close a chat, you disappear.

If both people opt in at the end of a conversation, YapperWoo lets you save an anonymous connection so you can talk again — still without exchanging any real-world identity.

Three modes, one system

Text, voice and video all use the same anonymous matching layer. You can start in text and switch modes later, and the app never asks for camera or microphone permission until you actually pick a mode that needs it.
