Everything we do to keep chats safer, and how to get help.

The Safety Center is a hub for everything we do to make YapperWoo safer, and everything you can do to stay in control of your own experience.

1. Our safety commitments

  • An 18+ age gate on every session, with re-confirmation when policies change.
  • In-chat reporting and blocking that immediately end the current match.
  • Automated abuse detection: rate limits, cooldowns, and abuse scoring.
  • Human review of reports, with escalations to authorities for illegal content.
  • Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material — see the Child Safety & Protection Policy.

2. Controls you have in-app

  • Skip ends the current chat instantly and puts you back in the queue.
  • Report flags the other user with a category and optional note.
  • Block prevents you from being matched with someone again.
  • Mute silences invitations from a specific connection.
  • Remove a connection to delete the mutual link entirely.

3. Getting help

  • For safety incidents, report in-app and email {{ABUSE_EMAIL}}.
  • For child-safety concerns, email {{CHILD_SAFETY_EMAIL}} and, in the U.S., also report to NCMEC.
  • If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
