Law Enforcement Requests

• Please include a case reference, the requesting agency, the specific data you need, and the legal basis.

• Preservation requests — we can preserve relevant records for a limited period pending legal process.
• Subpoenas and court orders — we respond to valid, properly-scoped legal process from a jurisdiction with authority over us.
• Emergency disclosure requests — we may voluntarily disclose limited information if we believe in good faith that an emergency involving danger of death or serious bodily injury requires it.
• Mutual legal assistance — for requests from outside {{JURISDICTION}}, we generally require MLAT or letters rogatory.

Because YapperWoo does not require accounts, our data is limited. We generally hold:

• Anonymous session identifiers and rotating handles.
• Hashed IP addresses (SHA-256 with a rotating daily salt) — we cannot reverse these to recover the raw IP after the salt rotates.
• Report metadata and moderation records.
• Optional push-subscription endpoints for users who opted into notifications.

We do not routinely retain the content of chat messages after the operational window described in the Data Retention Policy. We do not record video or audio streams.

Where legally permitted and operationally feasible, we may notify users whose data is subject to a request. We will not notify when prohibited by law or when doing so would create a risk to a person or investigation.
