Child Safety & Protection
Our zero-tolerance stance and how we work with authorities.
Zero tolerance. YapperWoo has zero tolerance for the sexual exploitation of minors. Suspected content is reported to the appropriate authorities and preserved as required by law.
This policy sets out our stance on child safety, how we prevent underage use of YapperWoo, and how we handle reports involving minors.
1. 18+ only
YapperWoo is for adults. We require every user to confirm they are 18 or older before joining the queue, and we re-prompt when our Terms or Privacy Policy change. Access from anyone under 18 is prohibited.
2. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Sharing, requesting, or generating CSAM is banned globally on YapperWoo.
- Grooming behaviour — building a relationship with a suspected minor for sexual purposes — is banned.
- Suspected CSAM is reported to the appropriate authorities and to NCMEC where applicable. Related account data is preserved as required by law.
3. How to report
- In-app: skip and use the report button, choosing the "underage / child safety" category.
- By email: {{CHILD_SAFETY_EMAIL}}. Please include as much context as possible without sharing illegal content directly.
- U.S. residents can also file directly with NCMEC CyberTipline.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
4. Prevention measures
- Adult-only landing page and 18+ age gate before every queue entry.
- Abuse scoring and cooldowns to slow down accounts that trigger safety signals.
- Trained review of reports involving suspected minors, prioritized above other queues.
- Cooperation with hash-matching databases where legally available.
5. For parents and educators
If you believe a minor in your care is using YapperWoo, please contact {{CHILD_SAFETY_EMAIL}} with any details you can share and we will help. YapperWoo is not designed for minors and we actively remove them.
