YapperWoo
Random voice chat

Real voices.
No cameras.

Voice chat lands somewhere between text and video — human enough to feel real, private enough that you can talk from anywhere without turning on a camera.

  • Echo cancelled
  • Noise suppressed
  • Peer-to-peer, not recorded
  • Survives Wi-Fi/cellular hand-off

Why voice-only exists

Video chat forces a decision about your background, your face, your lighting. Voice removes all of it and leaves the part that actually carries a conversation — tone. It's the format that makes long walks and lying in bed into good times to meet someone new.

How the audio pipeline is built

YapperWoo's voice mode reuses the same WebRTC signaling layer as video, so calls connect in the same second or two. Browser-standard echo cancellation, noise suppression and auto-gain-control are on by default. If your network changes mid-call, the client performs an ICE restart automatically.

Safety in voice

Voice audio isn't recorded, so moderation relies on the report button and a fast skip. Repeated reports against a session trigger review the same way text reports do.
